No don't worry, I don't have furry little rodents skittering around my classroom or apartment. This is a frustrated rats.
I'm finally fully operational, all communications up and running. I have my new computer and I have internet at home. Yipee! And I was so looking forward sleeping in tomorrow and making a few phone calls on Skype. As I pulled myself out of bed this morning my first thought was "oh it will be so nice to sleep in tomorrow. Alas, no.
Tomorrow (Saturday) is our school festival, organised by the middle and high school students. It is a full curricular day, not optional, and attendance is taken. So that means Saturday morning at 7.15 am I will be on a bus to school.
As most of the events are for and by older children the younger ones have a small part and chance to participate during the day. At 8.45 am is the Elementary Talent show. This will be fun as 15 of our 18 students are in it and they will be so cute. However at 10 am when it's over they will be dismissed to their parents to go home and our day will be done. For the half hour it takes to get to school and the half hour it takes to get home (not just for me but for students and parents) on a Saturday....
Our students will be adorable though: ballet, singing songs about "I'm so tall" when they're 4 and tiny", piano, other singing; it will be fun to see them all. Let's hope there's no stage fright and everything will just fine.
