So out of character...

So Japan is for new experiences right? Well I had a first yesterday: I bought a fish at the grocery store. Yikes.

Although it would be easier for of to eat here if I wasn't a vegetarian this was not my moment of conversion. Actually now that I think of it it was probably one of a very few, if not the first, times that I've ever bought anytime in the meat section. No this was all in the line of duty. This was keeping with our theme of "something's fishy" and bought so we can take a close up look at a fish- though not a dissected one. I just don't think I have the stomach for that.

Now if I can just keep my vegetarian fridge from smelling fishy...
